DJ Insomnia’s Premier Sessions – NYC R&B EDITION

It’s been a very, very long time since I’ve heard a mix that had majority of  my favorite R&B songs that I used to vibe to.  DJ Insomnia’s mix brought back many, many amazing, great memories.

I love 90s R&B and I’m glad DJ Insomnia decided to put this together. He also threw in some stuff from the 2000 era as well to mix things up.  Definitely, a nice breath of fresh air from all these computer made sets I’ve been hearing lately…thanks DJ Insomnia for recording and sharing this set.

Convey: D’angelo-Africa (Ebrahim ft. Aaron Hardin)

A fellow Convey supporter and musician, Ebrahim, in my opinion, has got to be one of the best R&B/Soul artists I have ever heard. This musician has vocals and talent that would amaze anyone.

I’ve always been one of the supporters of Ebrahim by watching him through his YouTube videos, and sharing these videos to friends I know that would enjoy them. And it amazed everyone at Convey, including myself, to know that the support was reciprocated. When launching out the “Pakistan IS Flooding” shirts, he purchased a couple of them and they can be seen in this posted music video.

Be sure to check out his other videos. He is extremely talented, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.
